Almost the Pumpkin Festival

Sunday, October 15 was the Half Moon Bay Art and Pumpkin Festival, but we didn’t get to see that. We left in the early afternoon but traffic was backed up to 280, and after an hour of driving, we’d only made it to the nearby farms. So we stopped and looked at the pumpkins for sale.

Kimi had dressed Sammy in his Tigger outfit, and while I am biased, I think at that moment he was the cutest baby on Earth.

I don’t even know the names of all of these little pumpkin farms. The first had a petting zoo and carnival food stand (where we had hot chocolate and nachos because we were starving). The second had a more elaborate set of activities including pony rides, hay rides, and a haunted house. The third was Lemos Farm, across the street from the first two, and it had all of those activities plus several live bands and a ghost train ride. Oh, and pumpkins for sale.
