Viral on Veoh launches on TiVoCast — plus PodShowTV!
Here’s some more great free content for TiVoCast: Viral launches today and will air once a week on Wednesdays. This show spotlights the producers and programs of the Internet television industry.
Also, I neglected to announce four new channels from PodShow that launched last week. Fortunately, the unofficial TiVoBlog had me covered (thanks Alex!).
The four new PodShow channels cover fitness (Fit Life with Amy Mac), tech news (GeekBrief.TV with Cali Lewis), fashion & style (The Masthead with Marie Claire), and music production (The Weakest Beat). To find these four, hit the TiVo button on your remote then head to Find Programs -> Download TV & Movies -> PodShowTV.
Check ‘em out, enjoy, and let me know what you think.

Wow, you guys are linking up with Veoh? They bill themselves as a ‘TiVo for the web’ and deep link other site’s video content – and we don’t know how that’ll work out. In fact, Universal and Veoh are headed to court:

Hey Dave. I have no comment about their legal troubles (but would note that their troubles in that suit seem no different than similar suits against, say, YouTube). I can’t find anyplace where they bill themselves as “TiVo for the web”; we would probably object to such characterization.
But I do know that Viral is original content and quite compelling, so it really seems like a good fit for TiVoCast.
