I don’t have much time for anything, let alone searching for Christmas presents. So, I signed up for email alerts to tell me when a Wii was in stock, again, no time to check email, so I missed out.

Until I found http://www.linejumpers.com, which has desktop alerts.

It runs in the background and automatically opens the browser window to the product you subscribe to track. It’s pretty nifty, and worked for me.

Good luck, I hear the Wii will be hard to find this year as well.

I’ve also tried the Wii Fit last night, at a friend’s place.
Kinda sore this morning, too much hula hooping

I’m not sure if I would get one though, it seems like the kind of thing I might get tired after a week or two.

I just managed to unlock super hula hoop last night! I enjoy that one too, although I don’t know how much of a workout it really is…

I have a Wii..I got it so I could do Wii Fit as well. I don’t have the Wii Fit board yet. My aunt is going to get me one from Walmart. I like the hula hoop one a lot. I unlocked super hula hoop on Mom’s.
They have a bunch of games for kids..so it’s real easy for me to use. I have a carnival games one that I really like. It has games you can unlock and stuff you can buy.

superk, I have a gym membership too -- just no time that works for me to go there. I'm looking forward to working out with Wii Fit this evening, so the motivation is there. Kimberly, all I can say is try the Wiitracker sites regularly, including Wii Fit Frenzy and Zoolert and Wii Fit Tracker. Walmart is sold out of the bundle that I purchased, but I did find one bundle that's available now from buy.com but it includes some extras you might not want. (Do you have the Wii itself already?)

Can you find me one now? I got an SMS from Amazon saying theyd be in stock at 1025am this morning, but when I added it to my cart at 1025am, it said “this seller no longer has this item, please go back to the item page”, and sure enough, the item page still said amazon had them in stock and it was eligible for Amazon Prime, but it would not allow me to order one. They must have sold out in a matter of seconds. I’ve been trying for months now.

I did think of buying the Wii and Wii Fit for almost the same reasons as you: kids, and no real exercice in more than 10 years (time flies…).

But I did decide to join the gym instead, which unfortunately forces me to stand around (and stare at) people who seem (I did say “seem”) to have more muscles than brains.

But hey, works for me.
