101 Things

Nicole’s blog introduced me to the “101 Things To Do In 1001 Days” project, which seems like a good motivational framework to get life goals accomplished.

Item 101 on Nicole’s list is “complete 95% of the list” which hurt my brain. But then, today, as I was contemplating doing a list of my own, I realized I could make it very simple.

  • 1. Create a list of 101 things to do.
  • 2. Do item #1 on this list.
  • 3. Do item #2 on this list.
  • n. Do item n-1 on this list (where n=4 to 100).
  • 101. Complete 95% of the list.

In other news: Done!

    No! Absolutely no mockery is intended, and I’m sorry if any is perceived.

    I actually liked your list a lot. But this is the best I could come up with on my own. The meta nature of your item #101 really did make my brain hurt, and this is what came out.

    In other news, here’s my new year’s resolution: I resolve to make a new year’s resolution.
