Internet Explorer-Only Features

The following features of FrontPage 98 only work in Internet Explorer and not any other browser:

• Marquees (Insert | Active Elements | Marquee)
• Background sounds (File | Page Properties, General tab)
• Page margins (File | Page Properties, Margins tab)
• Light and dark table border colors and Table background colors (Table Properties)
• Horizontal rule colors (Horizontal Rule Properties)
• Animated videos (Insert | Active Elements | Video)

Other browsers will display the page without these features (the text in a marquee, for example, will be visible -- but it will not scroll like a marquee; the table itself will appear, but the border colors you specify will not).

To insert an animated video correctly, either link to it, or use HTML's <OBJECT> tag. (You can also try using the <EMBED> tag, which is understood by Navigator 3 and IE 3.)
