Off for paternity leave!

We’ll be taking a break from daily tips for a while due to a paternity leave. In the meantime, please leave keyboard shortcut requests here.

What tasks do you handle all the time that are a pain with the mouse? What are your own best productivity tips involving the keyboard?

    OK — you asked
    Using Google Reader, J to go to next item, E send it to someone, fill in the email address, tab through the fields, everything done from the keyboard — copy typist who learned her computing in the DOS days finds this so much more comfortable

    AND THEN PICK UP THE MOUSE

    to send it

    YEEEEEEUGH — and other similar screams
