These keystrokes help you move around through a document that you’re editing.

  • Up Arrow: Move up a line.
  • Down Arrow: Move down a line.
  • Left Arrow: Move left a character.
  • Right Arrow: Move right a character.
  • Ctrl+Left Arrow: Move to the beginning of the previous word.
  • Ctrl+Right Arrow: Move to the beginning of the next word.
  • Ctrl+Up Arrow: Move to the beginning of the previous paragraph.
  • Ctrl+Down Arrow: Move to the beginning of the next paragraph.
  • Home: Move to the beginning of the current line.
  • End: Move to the end of the current line.
  • Ctrl+Home: Move to the beginning of a document.
  • Ctrl+End: Move to the end of a document.
  • F5: Go to a location (in Word and Excel).

The Shift key while using any navigation key will select text.

    can someone please tell me why my keys will not double stroke
